    For some reason, I want this.

    I want a lot of things, but this car is the FIRST big car that makes sense to me. The Lexus 600H. Gets more than 430hp.. and us a SULEV (super low emission vehicle) and it's huge. It gets THE FIRST LED HEADLIGHTS and they look good. the car itself looks like what I would expect from Lexus. But I have to be honest- nothing really turns me on more than some innovation (the led headlights) and the ABILITY to TRY and make a hybrid. Hybrids are the way of the future (before hydrogen takes over)... and toyota (lexus) and honda are the only car companies that can say time and time again that their vehicles are generally ALL ULEV's... and with the hybrids... Super ULEVS.

    I'm not an executive car kinda guy (I'm in my 20's... what the hell do I need with a car that big?)... but if I were to get one- this would be my top choice.. even over an S55.

    I present the LS600H (looks a bit odd)...but it's good- well worth the money.

    It does have a very 'mature' kinda image...

    The LS600h is going to be like the S600--- *lexus even copied the 600*... I assume 120's ish.

    me too, in the article it said that it had the first led headlights ( I know the audi A8 v12 has led headlights.. but they are lowbeams if that).. so I am EXTREMELY intersted in this. The Hybrid stuff is Amazing also. And the Maybach seat deal in the back is hot. I'm sure more will come out about this car. For me- this car just works.

    Maybe it's the camera angle but it looks to me like the front 25% of the car (A pillar forward) is the front end of a much smaller car grafted onto a much bigger car. Looks like a cross breed between a Camry and a Maybach...A Cambach!

    Kudos for the hybrid innovation...now hire Ian Callum.

    I love lexuses. Family has had them forever and quality is just impeccable. As for the600, Im not sure, might just go for the FI V8.

    I don't know about you US guys..
    but i suspect in europe (like here in israel) Lexus is going to have a fall..
    nobody here will pay for a japanies for the same price as a luxury german car..

    It's true that nobody ever buys Lexuses here. However, on a purely objective basis, they are better cars than the German competitors. They are more silent, more comfortable, better built and more reliable. They are also cheaper than European competitors in the US, so I understand why people would want them.
    Oh, and they're ugly and totally devoid of any soul.

    Funny thing is, I used to think Lexus was totally ripping off the previous-generation Mercedes competitor. Then I saw the upcoming E-class... whose headlights are lifted straight from the previous-generation GS!
