You are aware of the fact that dealers worldwide, including Germany, usually rely on the info they get here?!
But the time frame is right, just the "release" date is questionable, sounds more like a "making it public" date.
I would be very surprised to see a Cayenne facelift happen almost in the middle of a production year.
I'd say that May/June 2007 is realistic for an official introduction/sales start.
More interesting is actually the technical part of the facelift which may be more than a facelift if we can believe the rumors. Unfortunately there is another rumor, indicating that the facelift may not be THAT spectacular regarding weight and power figures like other rumors have actually be indicating earlier. It remains to be seen, I'm sure that around this summer, more information will leak out the factory in Leipzig.

I was told the same thing last week by a Porsche salesman who had just returned from Germany. He said that there would continue to be no Turbo available, just the Turbo S until the facelift. He also said that even the Cayenne and Cayenne S would likely be made with less options available. They apparently are going to gear up and make a bunch of "standardized" Cayenne and Cayenne S models to fill the pipeline until the facelifted 2008's come out in 2007.
If someone wants a turbo and doesn't want to step up to the S they had better find an existing car in inventory or be prepared to wait until the facelifted car shows up.

Maybe in Egypt. But here in the US you cannot order a turbo. I tried to order one last November and was told at that time they could no longer order them. I tried again in February and was told the same thing. I finally found a new unsold one equipped the way I wanted at dealer outside my area.

Yep, the last '06 Turbo for the US was built in December (or beginning of Jan).
