noone1:
If you think it's going to appreciate RC, then it's kind of stupid not to. You can wait for the normal car you really want (and lose a bunch of money as usual) or just buy a 911R and make $50-100K.
You don't understand:
1. This car would be on my name, I cannot really flip it (contract, 6 months)
2. I would want to keep it, I don't make money with cars
3. Driving it could be a liability (this is actually my biggest worry now...) because the car could be worth a lot in a couple of years (and probably even the moment I drive it out of the dealership)
I really wanted the car when it showed up but the more I think about it, the more I think that it may not what I am looking for, especially since it has no PDK. My wife also doesn't like the idea because it is no cabriolet and the Speedster would be completely out of my price range (not even sure I could get one since I do not know how many will be produced).
Overall, this is not about making some easy bucks but about if I want to keep this car and want to enjoy it.
Btw: My dealer has finally contacted me about the lease, will know more today or tomorrow.
