Well, I personally will go for the Weissach if it's coming kiss blush But to be honest, I'm actually longing more for the .2 GT3 RS..... And with the indicated prize tags combined with the glorious social democratic taxes here in Sweden, I'll guess I need to find myself some 1m EURO in cash to be able to have a full garage.... angel

if my kids are lucky, I'll find a new hobby, like chess, before these two cars hit the market, but i doubt I will.... smiley

So they finally decided to go with the 700 hp version, clever decision (I guess the 720S really put pressure on them).

I wasn't aware of the limitation but I think this is a mistake. However, 1000 cars in this price class is no bargain and I wouldn't really be sure the car is sold out. Some potential buyers may back off once they have the price tag (or get "kicked off the curb" by Porsche because they don't get a car because of what they did with previous cars...speculators and all).

With AWD, I would be tempted but 700 hp without AWD? Nice for the track but public roads? Not my thing, sorry. Traction is good on the 911 but not that good to not be affected by 700 hp and 750 Nm torque.

The old GT2RS also had 620hp - I would not be concerned about 700hp. Tires are better now, traction control is better, RWS etc. This could be a great product. Also, the pricing is only slightly above the old GT2RS (which was 240k Euro about 6 years ago).

As with the 918, Porsche waited for their main competition to show their cards, so I expect a really great product and performance with "only" around 700 hp.

This latest AB video hints epic performance.

It will be a total blast. Fast as hell literally.

But.... It is already a speculators dream as well.

How so? One "Grey" dealer from Germany already told me that he secured two(!!) 991.2 GT2 RS. Some of you will say that he is full of shit, but he already sold 4 991.1 GT3 RS and has two of them of stock with delivery km's. How is it possible? I know for the fact that he has very good relationship with one eastern Europe Porsche importer(no, not local one here in Croatia) but, most of his cars are coming from two German PZs...

Is Porsche really not knowing about this way of doing business? I will keep my opinion for myself.

BTW, my Congrats to all members from Europe that will be able to get one.

It's especially funny to see the pics from the top gear link that show the folly of the tape on the dials. The photos of the interior are at an angle and clearly show GT2RS on the dials...

When the .1 GT3RS was still in disgust, I was at Weissach at that time, the garage was full of them, like 6 of those on a hoist or just parked. I peeked inside to look the the dial and saw GT3RS. What was interesting was the exterior, the disgust were still on, and one car had the rear bumper off and the engine was in full view.

Too bad I am not even close to Weissach or else I could have seen something nice.
