Factory pick up was exciting as usually - quite some changes/improvements compared to what I saw ten years ago.
Though the pick-up instructors seem to be a bit challenged with the latest niche products. "That's the switch for turning on the rear window heating" Yes, sure ! Errrrm, Sir - that's a plastic window in the Spyder "No, we don't do plastic windows at Porsche" :-) Another visitor asked the tour guide: what's that for a nice blue Porsche at the pick-up parking lot (obviously the visitor meant my car - only blue Porsche parked there...) "That's a Speedster"

As we had the weight discussion: if my COC papers don't lie my car is bearing a weight penalty of a bit less than 40 kg compared to the naked (other than classic interieur leather package) PCCB equipped Sportauto car for the cast iron brake and the luxury goodies (Aircon, PCM, Bose, Rearview camera, light package...). With a 90% filled tank my car should weight just a bit under 1,370 kg. Not too bad for a rather full spec cab, if you ask me 
Ferrari would market the car claiming a dry weight of below 1.300 kg.....
BTW - RT is the nicest way to kill time on my flight today - typing / texting at 1000 km/h isn't dangerous at all :-)

the doorscripts are custommade. My wife didn't like the porsche striping 😭,too much in the face , she said. I find the white colour better when there is a bit of contrast with the black logo on the sides... So we got this compromice.

Limited impressions as yet - lots of traffic and wet! What a pleasure to be changing gears manually again ( and good practice for when the Singer arrives). The sound is just fantastic even with the sports exhaust off. Its clearly a tightened chassis, very fast responsive steering, clearly "tall" gearing was evident even with the limited drive today. No chance to see really how fast it feels but the car definitely wants to go and be unleashed.The seats are very comfortable. I did not spec this car but overall its a great classic combo homage to the old Spyders. No parking camera so I will need to be careful as real visibility is inevitably not great - another throwback to the pre- dual clutch / flappy paddle days which seem so long ago now. The roof is a big improvement on the prior model but will still take some practice to get slick at it I think.

Do you perhaps have more shots of the dashboard area and door cards? Curious how the aluminium trim looks in more detail.
In the Spyder Classic interior the painted trim is in GT Silver regardless of the body color. On my Spyder which will be in Agate Grey with Spyder Classic interior I could not change the trim from GT Silver to Agate Grey , or Aluminum or Carbon for that matter. The only possibility was to have it done by Exclusive (CX options).
