New G Wagon

Supposedly being launched at Frankfurt this year, wider more modern suspension. My Mrs really fancies one and I have always admired the beast. Is anyone else interested or know any details (like how extensive is this makeover) of the new G ?

You know it is always love or hate towards this. If I'm driving cayenne for sometimes, Im not sure ride in this monster would satisfy me. but I like it a lot.

well if you look at the latest RR Velar - Mercedes has to up the cockpit big time..... I am actually waiting for prices to drop of the old one but the Velar has spoiled that fun a bit..... heart

10 cm wider than w463

modern suspension...propably independent suspension with ride height control.

should drive like the current crop of suv's while retaining the retro look.

obviously not a highway car due to ridiculous cw.

I hope they will do a normal people version to Canada with a 320. It will look sweet still and ride much better, I would love one but only if the rear seats fold 100% flat. Otherwise it's not a true SUV and I will just go for competition.

I just hope that many will sell their old G63 and go for the new one or that dealers will have a greater stock in "old" G63 and sell them for little money or whatever. The G63 is still a car I want to buy and keep forever but my wife hates it and I cannot have her not driving it. So I am working on convincing her but I doubt I am going to be successful. Smiley

the more I drive mine the more I enjoy it......since I got it I did not drive any other car.

and I am not interested in the new one. I consider the G a fun 'vintage' car
