Yes..but I explain in detail

The MacLaren is IMO the car to have but In Portugal we dont have any McLaren representative...the Ferrari and the Lamborghini are more expensive and flashy compared to R8...and I can't compare the 911 with the R8 nither with the other cars on this comparasion!

I'm sure the lap time will come down as more track oriented versions of the R8 are released.

As for the rest, performance these days is getting so high that the feeling the car gives the driver is what needs to be focused on....unless autobahn performance is your priority.

I agree. One reason I still have that used (previous generation) R8 V10 Plus on my mind. For half the price, almost the same performance and an even better exhaust/engine sound.

Just two weeks ago, a R8 V10 Plus passed us on the Autobahn. The exhaust sound was amazing (and very loud), I guess he had a sport exhaust but still...amazing sound.

I don't understand why the previous R8 V10 Plus are so "cheap" with little mileage but it may change once people realize how much fun these cars are.

I don't want to regret it. I really love my GT500, I put a lot of work and passion into this car and when it is warm outside, this car is so much fun and the exhaust sound is just out of this world. I know that for Americans, this is difficult to understand but in Europe, the GT500 is really something special and attracts probably more attention than any exotic. In a positive way. Car is parked for months in a public garage and hasn't a single (even tiny) scratch

Smiley I'm afraid that R8 V10 Plus prices already reached a level where they cannot drop further. Also, a couple of months ago, there were around 12 cars available for similar prices and now only three cars.

I should have taken the car I fell in love with at my local Audi dealer. At that time, I also had the money available. I hesitated too long because I wasn't sure.

My wife, surprisingly, would love me to get that Gallardo Spider LP550-2 I mentioned because she loves how it looks but I have a bad feeling about that car since it had an accident and it was imported and repaired outside Germany. I know the dealer privately, he is trustable but what if he got lied too as well? Also, a car with an accident and a car imported, not really points which would make the car to keep it's value later on.

Naahhhh...I think I just wait and save my money for now. Smiley

The Gallardo had an accident and it is an import car. I would pay 100k for it but not 120k.
For 95k, I can get a R8 V10 Plus 2013 with under 20k km and with a 5 year Audi warranty.

To be honest, I don't really care what my wife says this time. Smiley

I'm on a train going to look at a 991.1 GTS Cab. I will then sell my R8 V10 which I have had for 1 year. I'm just bored with the R8 and feel like a cab for the summer. I know there are thousands of 911's on the roads in London but I still love the look and feel of the drive. That said, you do get exclusivity with an R8 because there are hardly any on the road. You do get looks and stares in it, but I think a white 911 cab GTS will also get the attention a car of that money deserves.

Why not a get a R8 V10 Plus Spyder instead? Yes, the 991.1 GTS Cab is a wonderful car but it lacks the massive power of that V10 engine and the sound of the V10 is also something special. You can't go wrong with the 991.1 GTS Cab but you shouldn't really dismiss the R8 Spyder either.
