    Anyone going to the "Porsche Turbo Lounge"

    in NYC next Friday and Saturday?

    My car is in the paint shop at the factory - normally takes about 7 - 8 weeks after paint shop until arrival at dealer, but that would put it at the dealership at the end of May/early June. I'll see if the PCNA guys will spill the beans about when these launch cars will be delivered if they have firm customer orders against them.

    Sorry Max, I can't help other than to suggest you find a dealer who's willing to give you an invitation. Manhattan Motor Cars sells Porsches - maybe they can provide the invitation. My understanding is that there that will be 2 turbos that we can play with - get under the hood and into the interior (but not drive) and that there'll be a variety of Porsche employees there to answer questions. And they'll be food and drinks.

    It sounds like a great opportunity for us to get answers to our questions about the 997 turbo.... Maybe we should start collecting a list of questions from board members to ask at the "turbo lounge"? What do you think Alan(NJ)?

    Since I already saw both Turbo and GT3 in Geneva, I think for me it's not worth it!

    Yeah I got an invite for 4/14-15 in Manhattan, it's for me and a guest, pm me Max as my wife has no intrest.
