bluelines:sfo:Sport Chrono on an RS in the UK is £1085. For that, you get the clock and Precision Track App.
What a rip off.
That is less than 0.8% of the car's new price. Won't hurt anyone who can afford the car. This option I would not try to "save" money on.
Also, I think it is more than Sport Chrono and the App. The car also gets a WiFi network and a additional PCM functionality.
it's not about saving, it's about value for money
Sport Chrono does not give Wi Fi but you additional display on PCM
Joost:Oh boy, we'ra talking about the nipples again... now someone seriously HAS to come in and make a pun...
Not just any ordinary nipples. RS nipples

i have not the sport chrono option and no wifi module in the car and no GPS, no pack sound system ( do not forget the PCM and the Sound system add 8 hp on the car, the weight confirmed by my dealer is 10 - 15kg...) wiring, hp and bass module.

ALDO:Guys,
all GT3 RS are sold. From Monday Porsche will send letters to all persons, who have placed an order and didn't get up to now a confirmation, that they will not get any GT3 RS. Only the confirmed cars up to today will be produced.

Interesting that the racist simpleton Tom Hartley has tweeted he's obtained a GT3RS for sale but won't post it on his website as the previous owner doesn't want Porsche to know about it. Surely they'll know once the new owner transfers the warranty???

there are already 2 for sale at Romans...price is a bit ridiculous
People should wait 6 months before they sell their cars, otherwise they could have a bad surprise in the future, when they want to get a rare or special model from Porsche and they cannot get it anymore because they have been "blacklisted". This can happen even to good customers.

there is no warranty transfer as such
all that happens is OPC makes a warranty claim, whenever that happens
at least two GT3RS owners in germany have had their cars blocked at the PC for weeks now due to the rear tires touching the inner wheel linings. the owners claim that there has been no information from PAG how they plan to deal with the issue. i have no idea of knowing whether the cars are stock or modified for track use (i guess the claim is stock and there is no reason to doubt this). anyway, have GT3RS owners here had this or similar issues (maybe the front wheels..)?
cheers peter
No real issue with mine. It touches slightly at the front ( the inner lining is a little bit scratched from the tires ).
At the back I can t actually see as it is too tight in there to look.
The people I know who had issue here are the ones who modified the camber and ride hight.

Hi Peter,
all the negatives have been related to admin and service issues like the lengthy and bumpy road to ownership and delivery, the recent recall (change of spark plugs and coils), etc.
All the positives have been related directly to the car itself. While it is definitely not the fastest car in a straight line I have ever owned or driven, there is just no comparison to the engine sound "drama" in the higher revv range above 5000 rpm. Plus the grip level, turn-in precision and the overall handling agility are truly amazing and enjoyable. IMO the RS shrugs off long track days like no other street-legal car.
Were it not for the rather ostentatious rear wing, it would even be a great stealthy race car-turned DD, given its excellent manners (almost completely normal 911 type usability, with PDK in auto mode and all settings in normal) in real world driving situations. As always, the one thing you would miss if you have ever owned a TT/TTS is the latters higher torque, but that is the nature of the N/A beast.
So, overall, I would rate it at least 9 out of 10.
