Sky's old friend Hairie, with his dad Jeff, comes over to say good bye -- Sky's legs and vision are fading faster now, the house covered with carpets to give him better traction, and his pal Hairie is dying of terminal liver cancer. They have both have had wonderful lives with more time to play. It ain't anywhere near over for either of these boys.
Hairie helped Sky get through the death of his brother Storm and cousin Sun, being there when he was all alone on his hike, such friends
And vica versa.
Sky made it to his stick today regardless

Same here...as much as I love this thread and the pictures, it puts me in a pretty melancholic mood afterwards.

Same here...as much as I love this thread and the pictures, it puts me in a pretty melancholic mood afterwards.
Sky still wakes up and rolls around on the bed plein de joie de vivre, slides off the bed and trundles down the stairs for his morning hamburger med patties!!! He just needs a little help at the bottom of the stairs and is learning to go around outside under the coral tree to get up stairs without the stairs.
He's still the Mighty Hiker!!!! Heading for His Stick today

With the other rear seat folded, Sky has a nose rest and space to relax, while with 600 HP and 600 ft. lbs, he can still shred with the best One could wish a true Porsche fanatic would hang 991 until the end but he definitely prefers the power wagon to the 991 -- at least he still loves excess power with his luxury. Sun on the other hand, was and is a performance only driver.
One could argue his recent choice of a FF RR for off road is a comfort car, but off road it's the performance rig.... but you can't argue with his GT3 and GT4.
Sun does however admit a mistake with the suburban Macan turbo....

On Christmas Day, Sky was very weak and hadn't eaten for 24 hours - we thought he figured he'd achieved his Christmas goal and decided to go on the Great Hike....
We spent Christmas mid day with Dr Dean our fab vet who gave Sky a bunch of stuff for nausea and tummy issues, and by evening, he ate some Christmas turkey.
By Boxing Day, he took a shorty
