That GT4 reminds me of my second 997.2 GT3. Similar colour. Also my friend has a GT4 coming in Agate and PCCB.
Grant, in the Chris Harris review, he mentioned that he set the car up with more rear bias because standard set up was too understeery. Something like that. I can't remember exactly now but worth re-watching that video as he mentions the set up too from memory.
That pic with the RS 4.0 and the 993 reminds me of my encounter in Kuala Lumpur two days ago! I was traveling at 110kmh on the highway and I see from a distance a very very fast car approaching me at a very fast rate. In no time he flew past me at easily 250kmh+ and it was a white RS4.0. Following him some 100m behind was a 993 RUF. Was just marvellous to watch albeit a bit dangerous potentially driving like that on a public road even if it was a quiet Sunday morning.
Kobalt:And here is one in Carbon Grey
Carbon grey looks better but I still think that the GT4 looks best in flashy colors.

Yep, full soft front, full stiff rear on swaybars. I'll try that when I get the car here - didn't have access to tools on my vacation...

Gnil:RC:Factory setup is pretty conservative and more comfort oriented.
... I would of expected that you add : perfect for Bluelines
I don't know him, so maybe he likes it hardcore (and in cuffs).

Not that this ever stopped you from giving "advice" before

I do not give advice, I provide facts.

Don't worry spyderidol, not everyone can have the favorite color combo of 19 year olds (black w/ black wheels). :) I'm joking of course, but I do think the black wheels thing is on its way out. So 2010. My gf tells me that even bell bottoms are coming back in style, so it's all cyclical...
Finally hit 1200 miles on my GT4. Time for an alignment and oil change. Xpel going on the car this weekend as well.

Ooh, I have to sit down now. That is more self-irony than I can handle in one day.

Kobalt:I found the Carbon GT4 (and the name) in an ad. Maybe the color name Carbon Gray is wrong.
Looks nice though.
I like that color too, but would like it even more on a model where you could specify an interior with a little color (instead of Black which is the only GT4 interior color). Sometimes a color like this goes nicely with Red interior.

Red or even orange interior would look great. ISUK had a Boxster like that once, if I remember correctly.

Good you can handle it.

Does it really use GT3 multi link rear suspension instead of struts? Also interesting that it uses slicks with wet sump motor:

Guess not on rear suspension. Would love those brakes, wheels, and LSD on my car:

Are those wheels 19s? Gives us an option for 19 inch track wheels? Interesting that it doesn't use the traditional BBS E88 3 piece. This one piece wheel is a much cheaper option I'm guessing? The brakes would be way way overkill for track days where you do a few laps at a time.
WAY:Are those wheels 19s? Gives us an option for 19 inch track wheels?
They're 18", but it uses a different brake caliper (from Performance Friction, I think) that fit under 18's easier than stock Brembo's.
"Mounted on the front axle are 18-inch five-bolt forged wheels with 25/64-18 tires while the 18-inch five-lug forged wheels at the rear have 27/68-18 tires. Michelin® supplies the racing slicks."
Aside from easier 18" fitment, the PF brakes are better, since you can change pads without having to remove the calipers. This is the way Brembos used to be, but now they have an annoying bridge that blocks exterior access to pads.
I'm assuming same brakes as 991 Cup...
