There is no WOW factor from Nick because, like me, he "moved" on. The 911 is still an amazing product from Porsche, especially the 911R but reality is that Porsche urgently needs a "960". Even the new 911 GT2 RS won't cut it, Porsche is behind McLaren, Ferrari and Lamborghini, no matter how good the 911 models are on the track.

Yep, I agree. And that comes from me with no experience really. The GT3 is my first P. You just have to look about to know the 960 is very much needed..And they have had ample time to make the GT2RS cut it. So what kick up the arse do they need ??....

A "960" will solve some of the issues. But beyond that, Porsche isn't doing two things anymore:
- a really good sport cars product for the "masses" at an attractive price point
- a halo car that would bring the excitement to own a Porsche again (except the very expensive 918)
SciFrog:The sport car for the masses is the 911. Sadly its price has exploded vs the competition.
Because people pay that kind of money for it... I agree though.

The VW group already has this car. It is called an R8. You can lease it for free.

If you know how to negotiate...
Btw: You should decide what it is, a good deal or a bad deal since you claimed it isn't a good deal, so it can't be for free, right?! You're confused. Just be careful you don't feed your kids Baileys instead of breast milk.
