    GT3RS list price in Germany and power output

    Having searched the archives and Porsches own website I am not entirelt clear about the price of the GT3RS. My understanding is that the car costs approx. 102k euros plus Mwst or local equivalent. What is the price of the most common options such as Bi-xenon, klima, white paint on roll bar etc.

    Does anyone know if there are there any more cars left for sale? I had a look at mobile.de and saw quite a few for sale at a premium price....

    Has anyone dynoed their car to see if it delivers the promised 381bhp or maybe more?

    Don't remember exactly, but I think you'll find that the german option prices are very similar to the swedish prices (not counting our horrible sales tax of course )

    Prices here in Belgium (without taxes) :
    GT3 RS base price : 104.132 euro
    full Leather 2066 euro
    alu pack 667 euro
    alu dashboard 522 euro
    xenon 810 euro
    speed regulator 379 euro

    2 are still available here, and delivery betw. May and July, but would probably be sold during the autoshow next week. I got the opportunity to order one, but choosed the GT3 in his standard configuration.

    Hi, I believe there is a car available in Norway at list price at the norwegian importer.

    But I was confused about the equipment you state as possible. When I ordered my car I got a very short list of extras : xenon, white rollcage, white centerconsolle, ceramic brakes and green tinted front window. No cost options was cd player and aircon.

    I was told leather was no option???? Anyone knows if Porsche has added to the extras list ??

    leather is not available for the GT3 RS as far as i'm informed. of course you can always ask exclusive for something custom-made.

    the only available standard option which isn't listed on the official price list is air con (no fee).

    I have noticed on Rennteam.com and the Rennlist that members use a correction factor of 15% when measuring the engines power output, i.e. multiplying the measured rearwheel power by 1.15 in order to compensate for the powerloss form the transmission.
    Out of interest, I have heard that Porsche has one of the more efficient drivetrain systems whereby a 2WD Porsche approximately has 8-10% powerloss, somewhat higher with 4WD. When we measured a friends stock 993RS it had 278 bhp on its rearwheels, 278.8*1.08=301bhp. My 993RS will be assessed later in the autumn. I will report back on the outcome.

    From what I understand, the correct way to convert rwhp to approximated flywheel is:

    rwhp/(1-drivetrain loss percentage)

    so in your example of 993RS 278rwhp using the 8% figure, you have: 278/(1-.10)= 308 @ the flywheel estimate.

    My understanding that for the 996 NA cars, the drivetrain loss percentage ranges between 13-15%.

    When I ordered my Cayenne Turbo, I asked my dealer if the GT3RS is still available. He told me that he got his "last" one for a customer and that Porsche has decided to limit production very much. So every day which passes by, it gets more and more difficult to get a GT3RS at MSRP.
    I can't tell you how the situation will be in 6 months or 24 months but if you badly want a GT3RS, you should get one NOW.
