They should be able to do it around $220k US. That would greatly undercut the 675LT or 488GTB/SP
960 never going to happen given the cost cutting. A GT2RS they could do very easily for little R&D costs given the parts bin they have to use from the TTS and GT3RS.

vantagesc:Very good video IMO, he makes valid points, I think many of you just do not like his conclusion.
Just like for example, my GT4 was well worth it to me at $91k USD sticker, but it wouldn't be to me at $150k.
His conclusion goes towards the people who buy it at a crazy 2nd hand price . I fully agree with that , and I do not understand anyone wiling to pay more then maybe 15k over list price . The ones paying 50k more are and I always wonder who they are .
At the real price , the RS is the best car, from far !

Porsche could build a GT2 RS at 230k or so base price, maybe 240k. The GT2 RS would be no competitor for the 488GTB but a possible Speciale.

We need to wait and see. Actually, it would make more sense for VW to delete the R8 from the Audi portfolio and start a 960 in the Porsche portfolio. This is what I would do. The R8 serves no purpose in the Audi family in my opinion. Also, Audi should cut down on Motorsports, it is enough if they do the DTM. Everything else should be left to Porsche in the VW Group family. I also think hat Audi would accept "losing" the R8 in the current environment.

Or maybe a 2nd 650S is, considering the depreciation heh.

I am really curious where the GT4 will trade in 2-3 years. Right now there are used cars showing up and disappearing from the largest Swiss used car website for 25-50% above new price. I can't tell if they actually get sold at these levels, but given the ads disappear fairly quickly would indicate sells.
In any case, the GT4 offers fantastic value for the money.

I guess it will sell for some millions...
We're at the point where you can be the fastest or just sound like you're the fastest.
The secret of life is to admire without desiring.
The current GT4 will keep it's value if Porsche doesn't offer a successor with the same (n/a) tech.
If Porsche decides to offer a GT4 based on a turbo charged engine, 4-cyl. or flat six, it doesn't matter, the current GT4 will get it's place in Cayman/Porsche history, no doubt about it.

That is what I am thinking too... Owners will trade in their 918 and RS to get their hands on this insane bad-boy machine!

Nobody would have suggested that when the first Cayman entered the world. .
Porsche have done the unbelievable with this car...
The ""Gayman"" is the thing of the past now.
