The Boxster is a very intimate car more than a 911 IMO. The Boxster performance is more usable in real traffic situations whilst the speed and fun factor are still there to enjoy.
Don't spend money on after-market upgrades etc. The only upgrade I would do in your case is the sports steering wheel with the paddles unless you really need the multifunction.

Alex18_996CC:I must admit I am in love, I even like the terrible sound of closing the doors (sounds a bit cheap, and even its a 987 series), but nothing compared to that special sound of closing or opening a door from a 912 911 serie. . This also happens in the 997 series, quite cheap noise when closing the door. On the other hand, in the 991, noise door closing is completely opposite, quite good actually.

Probably the most annoying thing for me its the mechanical crack noises the PDK does when starting the engine from cold start. Its not that crazy, but for sure there are big cracks when selecting R, N, or D when having the engine cold. I may take it to the dealer (specially since I bought it with porsche approved) but dont think its nothing. In the 991 its completely opposite, PDK in those situations is VERY smooth.
Great to hear you are enjoying the car. Agree about the sound the doors make, the air-cooled ones and even the 991 sound better in that respect.
Also the PDK has been improved on the 9x1 models over the 9x7 ones... not sure whether there is an update available for the gearbox on your car. That might make a difference. Since you have the extended warranty, I´d definitely contact the dealer.
Glad you're enjoying the car Alex. I get the temptation of wanting to improve/change the car but I would refrain from doing that in a Boxster, it's a nice and balanced package.
