the 488 spider looks very good with the roof down. with the roof up the appearance suffers a lot. this is contrary to the 911cab, which looks reasonably good with the roof closed but somewhat awkward with the roof open.
a cab i like with top up and down is the new boxster spider. it looks very good both ways.

The 488 GTB looks stunning in person. Especially with a black roof. Few minutes in the passenger's seat were enough to convince me to place an order. I haven't seen the spider version in flesh but based on my experience with the 458, there's too much wind and noise with the top down. The 911 Cab remains the best cabriolet I've ever driven. I guess the architecture of the car allows it. I also love the way it looks - top up or top down. Especially the Turbo S with its fat rear.
Back to the 488 - the exhaust is just the way I like it - exotic but not too laud. I don't like it when a car makes too much noise without going fast which used to be the case with previous Ferrari's. The ride quality is impressive and it seemed to find amazing traction even on the wet. It's in a different performance league compared to the Turbo S and the Huracan so what more could you want?

I´ve seen the coupe in red and it looks great, still,to my eyes the Huracan as more presence and looks even more exotic than 488. Never drove any, but from what I´v been reading 488 seem like a more balanced package, according to the press it´s the best drivers car you can get for the moment, but it would be a really tuff choice between these two, engine sound and looks Huracan wins hands down.

The "hump" is gone with the 991, if you're referring to it.

This red is darker and more opulent compared to the racy reds of Ferrari. It suits this GT car very well.
Isn't it an expensive triple color and the one used for the California T launch? I agree this is a gorgeous looking color!
As for the 488, I love how the coupe looks but like some people here I think the Spider looks weird with the roof up.
