    The rear spoiler looks like a joke, it´s time for Porsche to ditch those pimped rear spoilers, they look SO dated.

    The whole rear looks like a joke enlightened Far too busy. Too much going on with edges, slats and air vents.

    Basic aero of 991.2 Turbo is EXACTLY the same as on 991.1 Turbo. I saw final product pics and differences are truly small.

    Early rumors indicated 600 hp, now we are apparently at 580-590 hp. Still hoping for the 600 flat.

    Performance? Well, it should be enough to make a Huracan sweat but not enough to outrun the new 488 or a 650S for that matter. Last "official" number I heard was 0-200 kph in 9.8 seconds (current model has an "official" 10.3 seconds time). Half a second would indicate a power increase of around 25 hp, so the 580-590 hp figure could be right.

    There was a rumor that Porsche may increase the displacement capacity to 4.0 l but it doesn't make sense for a car which is supposed to get a completely new engine with the next generation. Let's wait and see....

    Agree the rear is not pretty. From the pictures above the aesthetics are not an improvement. We need to wait for the 911 R that one will be a super cool 911.

    Agree the rear is not pretty. From the pictures above the aesthetics are not an improvement. We need to wait for the 911 R that one will be a super cool 911.

    Yes agree price will be sky high . The car however will be very special.  I am seriously thinking about it but with the 918 Vip program that has precedence on the list, an allocation will be difficult to obtain.

    Imho - the uniqueness of this 911 will not come only from limited production and high price tag. If one is a fan of the original 911 R or the 2.7 RS concept then for them (and I belong to this group)  this car will represent something very special.

    I do not know the rumors about the specs of the fore coming 991.2 GT3, surely will be an impressive machine , do you know something you can share?

    For me the 991.2 TTS rear is spoiled greatly by the new engine cover and air vents. Vertical v horizontal just looks plain wrong...

    9.8 secs for 0-200 is not that impressive..( competitors go far ahead... Not sure that 580 hp will be enough to make sweat Huracan... I hope Porsche will surprise us but from your words I see that it rarely will happen

    The noise is all tyres, engine noise nearly non-existent. Not that I think this is a bad thing, but to some it may concern. Smiley

    My TTS after 10k miles as only now begun to sound loud. Not sure wise but it's much more loud buzz saw than it was when I first got the car. Also 2/3 throttle seems much louder than full throttle.

    So..... you're saying it had some sort of defeat device, that let it pass noise tests when new and added sound gradually as it is driven?  Crafty buggers.....  Smiley

    most of the test cycle is on the electric mode, so it's silent. Which is why the loud stock exhaust can passed. I mean seriously, the STOCK exhaust system on the 918 will not pass the sound rules on Laguna Seca raceway on a normal track day.

    A number of the tracks on the east coast of the USA have set aside days when you can run unmuffled exhausts. Other track days your car must adhere to local sound limits.
