hunterone:which time you achieved on the GP track ?
I did not have time to time yesterday evening Then again, I am not sure our times make much sense. We are parked on the main start/stop straight so you cannot drive this as part of the GP track.

Back from a fantastic week at the Ring. Great driving, great people, great atmosphere. The GT4 felt like home on the Ring. Such a fun car to throw into the corners. Bloody fast too. Might write a bit more later...

Come now, we know you are already bored with your GT4... it's been months since you've written about going for ice cream and I can't remember the last time you posed her against provocative scenery.

LOL! No, quite the opposite actually. This particular car ownership started out very well and has simply become even better since These 5 days at the Ring nailed it.
...but I don't want to bore you all anymore with my repetitive superlatives Gnil has had to listen to the words "insane" and "fun" until his ears started bleeding.

Thanks for sharing Really enjoyed reading that. This Lotus was indeed on my shortlist when deciding for the GT4. Would love to try one of those on the track.

WAY:I'm surprised there hasn't been a single article or video comparing a Spyder to a GT4!
I spoke to someone whom I trust who liked the Spyder better than the GT4 for the road - mostly due to the smaller and less sticky tires that made the chassis more adjustable (and throttle-steerable) in the corners. Maybe the lighter brakes are helpful there too.

The reason is simple: With an open top, you have more fun on the road. Not so much on the track.
