    thanks for the story and the pics Mike, very informative. the cooper s is a great car, and probably even greater with the jcw kit. i look forward to you report and your comments also on fuel consumption, which probably is the only weak point of this car.

    It just sounds amazing, that roaring sound in those accelerations, I am definately going to install the exhaust system, which in theory it should sound more or less the same as yours....

    I love the cold starts in the morning driving to uni", it really has a peculiar sound, I also love the sound when you touch the steering wheel, that robotic sound jejeje...

    Definately installing the works sound, I believe there is even no comparison between the video and real life!!!

    Mike, I have to say, you have a beautiful house, and I love your car choices. My family has had 3 Mini's since they came out. We even had the 3rd Mini to come into New England. We had a Green Mini Cooper, a 2005 metallic blue/purple Cooper S convertible, and now a 2005 white Cooper S. I'm so in love with the car, and I've promised to myself I'd own one when I'm older.
    The only complaint I have is the gas mileage too. My mom gets around 26 MPG, I get about 14, but that's another story .

    Anyways, I love this car, and I'll be a diehard Mini fan forever.

    Hi alex,

    I see you have the same colour as mine! Great minds think a like!

    Wish I have the Xenon lights though, that option was not made known to me when I ordered my Mini.

    no I'm just a poor photographer with my brother's expensive camera. The wavey patterns are just the clouds etc...

    I should really get some better pics
