    Noble M15 Revealed

Here's your next car Mike S
    Noble M15 Revealed

    Quote:
With a 455bhp version of the tried and trusted three-litre twin turbo engine Noble has come to rely on, this is also the quickest car ever to emerge from Barwell, Leicestershire. With the complementary figure of 455lb/ft of torque, all in a car that weighs slightly more than 1200kg, the M15 is devastatingly fast.

The M15 accelerates from 0-60mph in less than 3.3 seconds and 10 100mph in less than 8s. It keeps going all the way to 185mph, too, and has been tuned for rapid acceleration throughout the range rather than an easily achievable 200mph top end speed.

    Re: Noble M15 Revealed

Looks tons fresher than the current Noble!

    Re: Noble M15 Revealed

Lol, I've spent enough money this year, thank you!

Wow, looks to be a big improvement on the current noble. I don't like the square shaped rear though

    Re: Noble M15 Revealed

Seems they borrowed the F430 front bumper

And when's the current year over?

    Re: Noble M15 Revealed

Mike S, we are expecting a review of this from you when this car comes out. hahahaha.

    Re: Noble M15 Revealed

    Cool temm,

Per Noble contacts in Cincinnati, there are NO current plans for marketing in the US: it won't pass US crash/airbag standards with no strategy to market it in the US as a kit car-looks like I'll have await Mike S's review here on rennteam.

Power-wise, it's tweaked up versus the M400, but with a slightly heavier kerbweight for slightly lower power-to-weight ratio:

    M400:
    Max. power-425bhp
    Kerbweight-2,320 lb/1.05kg
    Power:weight-405 bhp/kg (hence, "M400")

    M15:
    Max. power-455bhp
    Kerbweight-2,750lb/1.25kg
    Power:weight-364bhp/kg

So more powerful but with extra weight. To me, it looks like it's targeted after the F430/911 Turbo buyer, but I think it's an uphill battle-the M400 appeals (at least to me ) with its light weight-with excellent handling (430 lb lighter than the M15) and "thrash-worthiness."

I think it's a cross between an F430 and a FordGT-not bad for "role models."

LMAO! You guys will be the end of me

    Re: Noble M15 Revealed

hahahah. But for real, thanks for all of the stuff you add to this board. Your pics, sounds, and your reviews, you really go all out for this board and WE ALL APPRECIATE IT.

Question: I just moved to AZ and was going into my office, and thought I saw a brand new Sl65... it was a 2007 SL55-- (this isn't the first time out here.. @ Scottsdale Porsche I saw the same thing) apparently they offer the wheels and the front fascia of the SL65 as an option (maybe it's not an option) ... what's the deal with that. For a second I thought that my porsche cab was out done (really, someone should have seen me with the top down and walking down the parking garage stairs w/ my suit and my face). I'm seriously just waiting for someone w/ a 360 to [censored] me off.

You're very welcome! It's part of the fun of ownership of these fine cars, might as well share it with everybody else

    Re: Noble M15 Revealed

I know what you mean... I was off from work yesterday and went to get my mail @ 3pm (kids come home @ about that time here)... and was driving my porsche with the top down (me looking college fabulous... tee shirt, shorts and flip flops)... and me seeing their faces and just thinking about how I was at that age amazingly then the kid on the sidewalk saying, "nice ride"... and me saying thank you and smiling. It's a great feeling. But of course, you have better cars, so .. yeah.. hahaha, thanks.

    Re: Noble M15 Revealed

Looks cleaner than the M400 IMO, but also looks like it has some DNA of at least 5 other cars...

    Re: Noble M15 Revealed

I'd still pick an M400 over that anyday

    Re: Noble M15 Revealed

What happened to the M14. I thought that was much nicer looking.
Also why do they do a 4 spoke steering wheel. It makes it looik way less sporty. Look at the pics on the noble site.

Hey, you brought it upon yourself man, with a "I just bought a..." post every other week!

I think I speak for all of us here at Rennteam that we expect you to trade in your current Noble for a M15 by the end of 2006.

No I meant, looks wise. The M400 is nice for me, because it just so bare and plain. This one is trying to be like a luxury sports car, I can drive the other cars if I wanted luxury. It's nice to have contrast in the garage.

Yes, wasent ther another prototype that looked much better, the front looked like a Murciélago.

But I still think it looks cool, for me function comes before design so as long as it can peform its good with me and that is what Nobles can do very well.

I dont agree with noble setting out to get some of the Porsche Turbo sales, its just ambitious sales tactics. What it will do is take GT2 sales, at GT3 prices. Now that will be a winning deal.
