apias:I think it's the combo of the first pic and this one that makes it great.
I would shorten the title to, simply: ONE LAST PIG EAR FOR THE ROAD
Duly noted that title is better!
Sun slept like a baby in his 991 S Cab on the road, when he wasn't sitting up navigating.

Or maybe even shorter "A pig ear for the road"... has sufficient alienation in it, is short yet descriptive..

Sun Likes it!
Before Sun, another power ruled the waves at Topanga Beach:
Surf Webb
a pic of an olde pic, but his power pours out. God Bless you, Surf

That should be the title of the book, and the thread that inspired the book.
I agree this thread is just too amazing. So much love and life during out of it, its really magical .
Joost:Haha Moth! The wingspan was about 4 cm (less than 2 inches)!
A Hawk Moth, I think.
I remember the first time I saw one I thought it was a hummingbird, due to its size, and the way it hovers and beats its wings very quickly.

That is one proud looking dog.
As we watch Sky age before our eyes, it brings back memories... of Surf; and the fact that no matter how majestic, or rich or powerful, we all end up moldering in the grave, and nothing lives on but memories....
Sky had a good week, averaging 1/2 mile round trip:
But every day a little more help up on the bed, the stairs... But, he even did a mile round trip -- all the way to Spike's Point
Increasing the thyroid med has helped even more Even with the bad days, Sky loves life, is so happy and such a joy
watt:When Sky had his last pig ear, and a very bad week, we thought he was ready to return.
But, he bounced back with Thyroid and acupuncture and love.... The Last Pig Ear has happened, but he's rolling on with beef bones
Good to hear, may he keep on rolling for a long time to come.
BTW, have you thought of sneaking out and moving the stick, say, 10 yards further on each night? Although, he may be too smart to be fooled by such a simple trick.
