To show how difficult it is to capture lava orange, here is the same shot pre and pro processing. Obviously these are not original originals, but exported JPGs, standard DNGs are 75MB a piece.

Leica S 006 with 30-90mm, ISO 100 f/5,6 1/500, -0.5EV (This is who I shoot in default, to avoid blowing out highlights)

As shot:

Colour balanced but didn't touch anything else:

Colour balanced and 0.5EV added to bring it back to 'as seen':

My own adjustment to bring it to how I remembered the colour

Just for kicks, this is how Lightroom does when I click auto balance and auto adjust

Well for obvious reasons they colours looks 'correct' on my own setup, everyone else might see different shades.

and yes, that's how lava looks indoor without direct sunlight. Salmon-ish

Micro dirt that the eyes don't really see.

Langley got 2 white ones today. Should be on the same truck with yours. They have michlins. I guess the ties are fitted randomly. No one knows what they will get.

The white ones were on the same truck as mine. I know both owners also.

The previous white one delivered to my dealer had Cup2s on.

I don't mind the Dunlops, had wanted to try them.

Please let us know how do you like the car after you put some miles on it. :). The two arrived in Langley 1 has michlins one has Dunlop. I have Dunlop on my Gtr before don't think they are same as rs but they are pretty good

congrats on another fine machine.

as to GT3RS vs GT3 debate i believe that it finally depends on the drivers ability. i believe an expert can extract more out of the GT3RS and the difference will be bigger than semi-experts.

I've got the Dunlops on my GT3... very good - downsides are they're more expensive than the Cup 2s and general feeling is they don't last as long..
