The 991 GT3RS is the meanness most aggressive looking 911 ever. It has a presence that no other 911 through the years can match.
Styling wise it is super busy, but each design cue has it's function in the grand scheme of things and form follows functions, it wasn't styled to look good, it was styled to go fast.

I agree. But on a public street it is out of place. The wing is just too large.
Of little, to make much: That is the dream of a human life.

too many plastic parts as far as i am concerned. the plastic side intakes and the rear intake look cheap. all in all the GT3 is more coherent, better looking. but if i had to choose today, i'd probably go for the RS nevertheless.

It's form follow function again.
Porsche could have used carbon fibre for those exterior plastic parts, but those are not strength focused area, the strength of carbon fibre will be wasted, and the weight saving will be minuscule if at all. No point is padding the cost of the RS.
Regular GT3 has a more streamlined design. It's a duo purpose machine that can hold it's own on the street as well as the occasional track days. While the rear wing still produced usable downforce, it's is less conspicuous. GT3RS is the track machine that can also be driven on the street, the big wing is a function of it's capability.

the eternal porsche excuse for pedestrian design and cheap design execution.
