    Painted Model Desig. Rear Lid (Option "CUC")

    Who has this option? I am strongly considering it for my Black/Black C2S, with an expected (and long anticipated) June delivery. It's true what they say...waiting tends to pile on the options.

    I've seen this option in a couple of pics, but not sure how it looks in real life. If you have it -- or have seen it -- on Black/Basalt, what is your impression? Too dark? Too subtle? Just right? Perfect...wouldn't have it any other way? Why did I do this? Etc...

    Black on black? You may as well have the designation removed in total and go for the clean look; at least you don't pay for that!

    aggreed, i prefer the clean look:)

    It looks like it was forgotten there during painting process:)

    The C4S above I saw a couple weeks ago, and it did look bland with logo in body color.

    what do you mean bland, you liked it?

    i dont ,sorry, i prefer nothing against half,but thats just my taste.

    FYI, You can buy the designations easily (suncoastmotorsports) and paint them anycolor you want with a can of spray paint. If you screw up (which you won't because they're so small) they only cost about us$20-30 to buy another one.

    I agree with you Dilinger, none is better than painted.
    It did not look good painted body color in my opinion.... logo looks better in the stock silver (S models) or volcano grey (non-S models) or else delete it entirely.

    IMO - it looks better left alone especially on a dark body colour. It contrasts nicely with the wheels and blends beautifully with chrome exhaust tips.

    i believe that in the 997 the logo factory color is the same ,S and non-S
