3.6l and 3.8l options are still available - just not through Cosworth.

    Another nice article and video.

"The Singer-customized Porsche 911 is not the perfect car. Nothing could be, not for everyone. But for someone who loves the 911, remembers it fondly, and always had a special place in their heart for it…for that person, this car is perfection. It is rare that I say this, but when I do, I mean it: This reimagined Porsche lives up to the hype."

These things look great in photos but they are a bit much in real life and on a day to day basis. Moreover, it just did not fit with the rest of my interior.

I would love to have a complete Singer "under the skin", but my stock 964 body on the outside wink

Re: Donor vehicle for Singer Vehicle Design

    I wanted to backdated to 73rs,but 3.8 or 4.0

    martini964:

I am considering a large displacement motor for my 73, but while much stronger, the larger motors are not quite as quick to respond with the feeling of a weightless flywheel.  Still trying to decide...

These types of intakes/fuel-injection (6 throttles) help a bunch with making the large motors feel more lively - something that Singer does with their more expensive motor builds:

Re: Donor vehicle for Singer Vehicle Design

lol, EFI is the one I'm putting in mine.not only it breath better ,but sound better too. also regearing is another update that let the car revs better., still gathering information and parts. with 120k miles, still no rebuild on mine but I want to do the build from A to Z in my garage.

Re: Donor vehicle for Singer Vehicle Design

forgot to mention that you are right, but what I'm looking at is more torque in better curve,as I'm all DD the car,its more useful.

Re: Donor vehicle for Singer Vehicle Design

If you use a plenum with 6 throttles (one like that in my link above), then you'll get both better low-torque and better response everywhere else.
