Nice. I think the black wheels work well here (and I generally hate black wheels) because the car is silver. So, with silver wheels there would be little contrast with a low profile tire, and just too much silver. The black also goes well with the Targa roof. And of course, continuing the sliver and black theme into the interior is just right.

thanks for all your positive feedback
i must confess, i did think twice about posting as not all comments are always positive however, i looked at this forum many times daily prior to delivery even though i came from a 991s coupe. the fun of the forum is seeing all the cars and the feedback so only right to post.
done a few hundred miles and you can notice additional weight and four wheel drive although this is not really a negative, just takes a little getting used to .
the car also has the x51 power upgrade so once i can really open up the engine, things are going to become even more fun

I didnt really understand the naming at first.
As I understand now, this is a uk special edition of the targa 4s?
Apart from all determination, the car looks absokutely stunning, a very nicely configured special edition it is! Thanks for posting, and I'm happy you took the plunge to post!
Lookimg forward to reading more drinving reports :-)
Btw, how do people react to thw 991 targa in the uk? Here on rennream the opinions seem to be a bit mixed, but i guess we're not really representative of the general audience ...

the targa is considered to be the most desirable 911 for a long time. in terms of driving, so far its great. i think its essential to get the power pack x51 in this car. honestly, i can sense its a fraction heavier however there must be a small price for the extra style. going to do a road trip to wales next week so will know more then.

thanks for the compliment
Thought so. Rhodium has a lot more blue hue in it. This looks absolutely stunning and matches the alu of the targa-bar very well.
By far the best limited edition I've seen so far. The Dutch Targa looked nice too, but this looks a lot more elegant and classic. That's how a 911 should look IMHO. Especially the Targa.
Congrats with this beauty and I wish you many safe and enjoyable miles!
Suzy
Enjoy!
After six black cars on the bounce, I'm leaning towards silver again for my next car. This looks very cool in your pics - again, I'd echo the comments on wheels - not usually my choice but look great on your car.
