It seems it is like the LWB option. It is currently being produced but it will stop soon and restart again in December. Not sure what the exact delay is, it's just paint that's being mixed up. Maybe a shortage of the ingredients.
Anyway, production will ends in May, so 1 year production run only.

Probably another instance of paint having to be sprayed onto different parts in different shops and all having to end up the same final colour. Not always as simple as it sounds.
The interruption in supply makes it sound as if painting of some parts may be moved to a different factory between model years, so a new supplier has to be brought up to speed.

The pictures you posted are oversaturated. Lava Orange looks more red than Guards Red. Compare to Gauss avatar. I simply adjusted it in the other direction. The truth is in the middle

I still not understand why they used brackets to affix the wing. Definitely looks like an add on and cheapens the look of the car. I know they are adjustable but the GT3 wing is adjustable and it doesn't have those cheap looking brackets.

Super Darius:Eric,if i come from a "standard" waiting time(2/3 months) ok,i can add again 1/2 months to wait PTS,and in that case i would go with mexico blue(and i'm sure to not ho wrong,also if there is the problem of the inside part,that can't be modified,stitching etc.,you must leave them all black..).BUT
We came from a long wait,too long!really,these days are really slow to pass for me,as more as i see car delivered the slowest the days pass.So...no i don't whant to add another day.Also brown but i whant that car soonest as possible.
i don't think that Porsche choose the wrong colour to launch a car that is so "special",also i LOVE the orange part of the seats and other inside parts.

I am actually quite confortable with the LO, even if at the end it is Salmon . I know many people are now switching their preferences away from the LO after seeing it in the flesh , but I think that the color suits this car the best . And it goes well will the LO roll cage, the orange stitching etc..... This color will be the 991 GT3 RS color in history. I could probably find a good PTS color , but then it would not have the color bits that go with it .
As a whole package LO is the best way to go for me

After driving the GT4 I would of hoped for a slightly rougher sound in the RS

Fritz, that is nonsense.
This is a road car suitable for a track. The brackets look cheap. If one was not a Porsche enthusiast the clear impression is the wing was an add on and an ugly one at that. What is wrong with a GT2 type wing?
People cannot help but to think Ricer when viewing the car.
