Yeah, I could have sworn that I saw a picture of a GT4 with a much heavier man with graying hair behind the wheel. 
Must have been confused by the blur of speed.

Went nappy shopping with the GT4 yesterday, it is great with a trunk both in the front and rear 
Anyway, while I was loading up the front trunk an 80 year old woman walked up to me on the parking lot and said "a trunk in the front, that reminds me of our old beetle which we drove to India with". I could not stop smiling on the way back

Beetle root to the Cayman? This is new. I think you're confusing your Cayman for a 911.
As far as I remember, the classic Beetle was rear engined, not mid engined.

No, no, his manly days are over now, the VW beetle is not enough, bluelines is eagerly waiting for VW to bring back the VW bus of the 1950s so he can trade in the GT4 for ... In white of course.

Lately, only around 20%...not really "many components". 
You are still stuck with the 996/986...

Kobalt:Without Porsche probably no VW beetle, without VW beetle probably no 911, without the 911 probably no Cayman. Hence the link was VW to Porsche
Without Huracan, no R8...got it (or was it the other way around? 
).
