    Well, it bears a remarkable resemblance to a paperweight or doorstop, depending on the actual size. I'm leaning toward paperweight. And, FYI, it's the same paperweight as the Boxster Spyder paperweight.

    Good to keep all my speeding tickets from flying around in the breeze Smiley

    Yeah, like a Boxster GT4 Coupe is ever going to get a speeding ticket.

    I got the opportunity to get a custom built helmet. Basically the helmet can look how you want it to look.

    The helmet is the Ivos Double Duty.
    It is a present from my Porche dealer.

    It cost about 190.000€ in base config in Sweden. Incl VAT. 

    In Denmark and Finland: Crazy expensive due to tax.

    Btw: I actually keep them on display in my (home) office, with some cups from the past. Guests always think they are some sort of prices/cups as well, so... Smiley

    My wife almost threw away hers (Macan Turbo), she asked me "what is this crap good for?". Smiley A nice Porsche Design handbag or whatever would have pleased her more for sure. Smiley

    And I haven't got to the 918 drivers yet.

    Later in November, Porsche is doing a track event for the 918 owners at Portimao, and each participant will get a complete set of Stand21 racing gear, helmet, suit, gloves, shoes in 918 Spyder color, i.e. black with acid green trims smiley

    I might be exact as you're saying: They might be using Alpinestar for their teams.

    Helmetvise I think each driver has he favorit helmet and there is also sponsorship to consider.

    But I don't remember exactly.

    Only for the LMP1 team . For Porsche Motorsport it is still Stand21

    Only for the LMP1 team . For Porsche Motorsport it is still Stand21

    Alpinestars for the IMSA GTLM program too.

    After a long wait (almost 10 month) I finally received my GT4, I drove roughly 1800km, so ready for the spring which is just not coming to Switzerland.

    I really love this car, it is exactly what I had hoped for or even more. Will go to probably Hockenheim as soon as I reach 3000km.  Below some pictures I took with the iphone, sadly not my house in the background
