I most heartily concur. I think the Mimiwhangata coast is the most mesmerising, beautiful place on earth. The textures of God are everywhere.

Funny, I've been to California and to NZD and I don't get the fascination for NZD. For me NZD is too much like Europe and doesn't justify the long flight. But it's a very nice place to live for sure.

Every few days, we see a herd herded up the road to new pasture. The farmer girl told me this little calf was two days old, as she picked him up and whisked him out of the way.
Going to need to mount a cattle guard on the front of the RS....
He is hangin' with his three new cat buddies who arrived yesterday from the Animal Shelter- they are in "space quarantine", kept in Wiley's office for a few weeks to acclimatise.
Cats here, begin with T, so we have ToughBoy with wild green eyes, super big, super strong [he ripped his way out of the heavily duct taped cat box on the way home], going to be a great ratter.
He decided to take the e63s wagon - gave up 3 mpg 17 instead of 20 at 100-1++, lots of room and superb linear stability from the 4wd, especially in a deluge thunderstorm in the CA desert. And massive shred power for the numerous left lane parked cars - a trait of Utah and Nevada drivers in particular -- hammer down, see ya
In Beaver Canyon in Utah
i couldn't convince him to sit in Sun's seat, he prefers the back seat and going all the way in the back, as he always has done.

Utah is a remarkably creative state; whilst Nevada and Arizona are stuck at 75 mph speed limits, the test 80 mph areas that Utah had the last two years now cover most of the state, and our basic rule is... 30 over - you have to brake to < 30 over if nailed over here to avoid a rather stiffer penalty... So risk management is a personal combo of skills and reflexes. We find skills develop and outweigh the loss of reflex, rather a lot
Watt, many thanks for this summer's (or winter's down under) series of "life in the dirty lane" - you deserve an award from PAG for getting down and dirty with a 911. We love NZ as well, just love Aussie a bit more for coastal fun (keep in mind we have a deep freeze winter to escape from). But for driving fun there is no comparison, most states in Aus are nanny states bristling with speed cameras; in NZ they usually trust you to drive according to your skill and conditions.
