Here is another photo of the Targa 4S in Agate Grey . Looks really good.
Sorry, don't like it at all. Very strange colour scheme with the painted rims and the silver hoop in matte finish.
And I still think that the old fashioned targa hoop doesn't fit the modern line of the 991.

The targa hoop would work in a different color. This is something Porsche really needs to work on (optional colors for the targa hoop).

it's the wheels mostly I think. Silver wheels would have made a big difference. I'm surprised they didn't do a silver (or even better brushed stainless like the original) and black as options for the hoop.
I actually love the look though. I think the targa is one of the more attractive iterations of the 991. Just goes to show you everyone's taste is different.

A 911 is an elegant car. That's exactly the reason why so many people all over the world, men and women, like the 911's shape. It's not agressive, it almost looks friendly. The car needs to look elegant. I like the alu hoop a lot, especially with dark colors. The Targa is also the ideal 911 to play with retro PTS colors.

Right now I'm working with my dealer on an order for a Gulf Orange Targa 4S. Wil add the 50th Anniversary "Fuchs" wheels, black leather interior. Seems a winner in my mind's eye, but as they say experience gives the lesson after the test.

Older Targas looked very good in Orange and also in Yellow. Orange would work very well 
Here are all of their Yellow Coded, the Orange ones are searchable also
