    Who has the highest mileage 430? Service Experiences?

    Just wondering who has done the most miles here and what your experiences have been of servicing. I am interested to see if it really does work out cheaper to run than my 360.

    I have about 2300 miles and no mechanical problems. However, I did have some cosmetic issues which were covered under warranty.

    2000 mi, no issues of any kind.

    2400 miles, just sold it - never had any problems, perfect car.

    or, we have more than one car we drive, so nothing builds up high mileage

    It's a shame to sell such a great with so little mileage on it.

    High end modern sports car engines don't reach their full potential/ hp until at least 10000 km (6000 m).

    Good deal for the buyer though!

    i'm at approx 7000 km's

    but with quite some problems.

    - malfunctioning e-diff valve (which caused the F1 to jump into N during shifts). has been fixed.

    - the exhaust on the right side rattled and had to be fastened. twice.

    - car used to stall in first gear after standstill in the wet (rain, moistly garage). F1 software has been updated lately, hasn't occured again since then.

    The F430 had to have seemed like a Cadillac compared to the other two F cars you have.

    Have to admit I'm a little disappointed the prior owners didn't select the nav and bluetooth options when ordering ... very hard to retrofit.

    Almost. It's a horrible photo of my 1953 212 Inter EU. Didn't mean to hijack the thread, just wanted to reply to Fanch's comment about selling an F430 with so little mileage. Fanch is right, the F430 is superb in so many ways, it was hard to let it go. The 212 popped up for sale ... my wife, who thinks the F40 is a silly car, loved it ... bye bye, F430.

    Another question, I have driven a few hundred miles in a 430 recently and I used 'low grip' and 'sport' on the manettino. What mode do you guys use for normal city driving? I enjoyed it more in 'Sport' but definitely had to have a bit more concentration and focus on what I was doing with the throttle and brakes.

    Beautiful car. And who else other than Ferrari would build a 2.6 liter engine as a V12!
