Horizon Blue... Beautiful color! The color is offered on various models in the past.
Here's a nice website with all colors offered on Porsches on the past. http://www.elferclassic.de/technik/farben/plack_blau.php
The latest Paint to Sample list I have is from january 24, 2014 and someone has asked for this color, since it is in feasibilty check for 911 and 981. It's approved for Panamera.

Thank you for the website.
Are you getting the 4C?
No... Not getting the 4C... The picture is from an 8C spider, which isn't mine BTW (Although I will certainly drive it once in a while)

I will. No problem. Don't want to go too far off topic, but I can say it's simply a magnificent car to drive. Certainly not perfect (gearbox can be clumsy at low speeds and center tunnel gets pretty hot. Handling isn't the best feature either), but the car has so much soul and charisma. It feels alive. It's at its best when driven at 5-7/10th or so and the best thing of all is the exhaust note... That just gives me goosebumps. A downside is the fuel consumption. 23 L/100km is the best I got out of it on a short drive, but that's mainly because you can't help revving the engine up high all the time.
Next time I get to drive it, I'll try to do a more extended review in a seperate topic.
Now back to the Sultan's 964

Awesome, thanks for the link
Here is another one of my favorite colors on the 3.6 turbo, its hard to tell from the pictures but it is very deep purple which came on the 3.6 Turbo S.
i think this is Viola pearl. Same color is used on the 30th anniversary model of the 964 (Most of the 911 examples at least. It was also available in Polar silver and Amethyst metallic)

+1 Violametallic . With regards to the 964 30 Anniversary , also 5 units were produced in Guards Red color . The 965 Turbo in Horizonblau metallic is spectacular .
The advertiser claims it's Horizon Blue but I'd agree, it doesn't seem to be that colour in the photos. Can't believe it'd fetch £194K but who knows in this bonkers market. I recall reading an article on the state of the Sultan's collection - can't find it now but it didn't exactly inspire confidence that each car was well kept. (I recall mention of melted steering wheels!)
BTW Suzy, what's replacing the Boxster?
991 (what a car!) XC90 - 120 Cab - 2 kids, 1 dog
bridggar:BTW Suzy, what's replacing the Boxster?
Don 't know yet...
That's the reason why I sold the car. Couldn't make up my mind, because in the end I always came back to the Boxster and decided not to go for something else.

Sorry to hear that you parted with the Boxster S. We both know it was the inevitable first step to order a Boxster GTS
Which exterior/interior colours are you planning to get?
2014 991 Carrera 4S | Dark Blue Metallic | PDK | S-PASM (-20mm) | PSE
2010 Audi S5 cabrio | Ibis White

Hahaha. No GTS for me. Don't like the alcantara interior and I'm not sure if I like the the GTS front fascia, so I don't see any reason to go for a GTS. If I want another Porsche (30% chance at most), it will be a Boxster S with PDK that is max. 6 months old. Not gonna buy a new one for only 5000-7500km a year. I rather spend/invest the money on a nicely restored classic Italian sportscar. They don't depreciate....
