Sorry, Gnil I was still busy editing after accidentally posting the pic without a description. That's the wife of 27 years.
Still miss that little RX-7, but I miss my 455 cu in V8 Trans Am a bit more!
Still, Leawood's cars have been pretty awesome.
I hope no offense taken .... It was not extended that way . And congratulations for the 27 years . I am only at 13 !

Gnil, no offense taken; in fact I thought it was pretty funny. I was just suprised that someone found my "accidental" post in the few seconds before I had finished editing.
At any rate, I don't want to steer the thread away from car colors and Dino's.
There are many cars that I really like, but the Dino is still my number one in appearance.
Iain - words cannot possibly describe the total commitment and dedication you display in all of your projects...
Your attention to detail is bordering on OCD (in the most positive description of interpretations)
Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedules to share these amazing achievements with us on R/T...

I went to the trimmer today and the interior is fitted. He has made a beautiful job. I'll get better photo's once I get the car back in a few months as these don't show the fantastic graining on the Connolly leather.
I think Porsche now make home versions of their car seats.... OK but not really that special outside a Porsche car. But I would love a pair of these seats in my home.....
2011 Range Rover Sport S/C, 2009 Porsche 911S
The car is just about ready to leave the bodyshop and is being collected on Friday. It is going back to my Ferrari dealer to have the rebuilt engine installed along with all of the other items that were removed for refurbishment. The suspension will be stripped, cleaned, powder coated and re-bushed and the over hauled brakes refitted. I hope to have the car back in late August if all goes to plan.

If you mean the car at the RM Auction which was chassis #06158 then it looks a tidy example but has a few detail issues that are apparent in the photo's. It's not in it's original exterior colour either and the targa panel has been painted body colour which is incorrect. The price looks fair for the overall condition however especially considering the low mileage.

The quality of Dinos offered at the various auctions at Pebble this year varied enormously with some really shabby examples being offered in the hope of achieving strong money. It looks like buyers were sensible though and didn't pay over the odds for cars obviously in need of varying amounts of restoration work.

Great to come back to this thread every so often
I'm still amazed at the attention to detail. Simply incredible
I too doubt that the original car could have looked this good from the factory ...
I think that Ferrari themselves should be made aware of this ... perhaps somewhere Enzo himself is looking down and smiling
