Sun's got a new rig coming!
Sun convinced his mama to order him something with very low floor so it's easy for his aged body to get in and out, and racing seats so he doesn't have to lean so hard around the corners Feb. build, nice work Sun

RHD yes NZ. Sun cancelled the 14 RHD GT3, there are GT3 RHD spots for 15 he's thinking about but yes this Speciale is Sun's Fall [NZ Fall] forward car, the RS get him thru winter [NZ winter] and the Macan turbo will take him through the high country stations of the S Island in summer [NZ summer]. Lord let him live that long.

Watt and Sun you are aware the Speciale interior is very spartan. The car doesn't even have arm rests. They had to save 200 lbs somewhere.
Nick,
Sun has the "spartan" gig down. He started in his Strads and Scuds. He sure likes those racing seats!
Getting picked up after a date at his girlfriend Betsy's house. He would go under our fence, walk the 2 miles and go under their fence, break through the dog door and and jump howling on the parent's bed at 4 am when she was in heat, and they love him dearly. RIP Betsy, a lovely yellow Lab
John H:
Many congrats Watt - I think I'll commission Sun to spec' my next car...
Suns says thanks John! Final spec:
argento N., rosso calipers, no stripe no shields, silk or grey wheels
charcoal interior, rosso inserts, rosso stitching. no stereo, nav, etc
Large racing seats w adjustment, smoking kit [for Sun's Valentine]
Full size spare
....Now he's trying to decide whether he should bother with a 2015 GT3 order spot, who knows whats what there

Funny!
The sad part of the GT3 fiasco is I honestly don't believe Porsche knows what's what. They are dealing with the issue by the seat of their pants. Those of us in limbo have not had any information as to where we stand. We did get an email today telling us that engine replacement production has started (Duh!) and we would be contact "shortly" about details. Given Porsche's history to date in handling the GT3 issue, "shortly" could mean several weeks.

Yes,
i just dont feel like getting jived all over again after posting deposit, speccing car and having it fall into a nebulous hole. The best revenge vs Porsche is ordering a Speciale....
