What setting are you guys using for your Burmester? I am not an audiophile nut but I like my music very crisp and somewhat robust. I am sure it will take my Burmester sometime to settle but I not completely happy with it yet. I use mainly HD Radio, XM and Buetooth streaming from my iPhone.
I just play cds i record and iphone, and just boost bass 1-2 with a slight fade aft. Its a truly great stereo, only surpassed by the bang and olefson in my e63s wagon.

I will give these setting a go. Also it feels like the driver seat as a speaker under it. I constant think my iPhone is going off because of the vibrations on my butt!

This is not only the Turbo (non S) but also the Cab which is heavier. Poor GT-R...

My 991 Turbo S has 7200 km now...not a single issue yet...driven very hard.
Wait...there is a speedo cluster software update available but not only for the 991 Turbo S but all 991 models. Not really an issue though.

RC, did you notice any step change in performance after 5000km or so?
I have the software update on my car since a few weeks. The initial cluster displays changes to graphically display engine vitals in place of the mixed info before.

Not sure what you mean? Could you elaborate?
My car had three software updates already. Two for the AWS and one for the speedo cluster. I haven't noticed any change in the graphics in the speedo cluster but I noticed a slightly different (more "planted" in the rear feel) behavior of the AWS system.

The graphical cluster on the right before the update had a mixture of information like media source, phone signal and boost pressure. Now after the update it only has engine information like boost, oil temperature and oil Psi pressure. I saw the same on the Macan cluster pictures you posted. See picture below pre-update.

My cluster looks the same as before...you know that you can set it up individually? I will look at it again this weekend, maybe I "missed" something.

Interesting, thanks.
I'm just a little bit skeptical about the second video (tuned 997 Turbo) because I know quite some tuned (ECU, exhaust/manifold and even turbo chargers) 997 Turbo with PDK and none of them runs that good (all of them have power claims between 580 and 620 hp). I rather think the owner didn't want to share the whole mods done to his car.

Pointless drag racing IMHO... "I have bigger turbos than you"
Throw in a few curves and show me the same cars and the same owners. Then it is getting interesting. This is just a money game, who invested the most tuning gadgets into their car.

That's exactly how I think about this dragracing too. To say it in Jeremy Clarkson English: who has the longest gentlemen's sausage.
