    If you had a little more time, you should have complained to his manager. And if that was not acceptable to you, then go up the command chain. That type of response to you is not acceptable. No way. That person should be fired.

    The OS should be able to distribute load nicely between applications, and no special support is needed. When running only one app, it has to support threading to be able to take advantage of the two processors. AFAIK, apps like photoshop have supported multiple CPU's for a long time already.

    Photoshop and CAD applications are the programmes I use regularly anyways!
