Car Configurator

Hey guys,

Is the Porsche Car Configurator working for anybody? If so, I have a huuuge favor to ask...

Mine is not working on any of the computers I try it. It just keeps giving me a shockwave update even after I update!

did you try the 2D version?
that worked for me, but when i try and click the 3D version, i get the *Shockwave Update* also, but i can't try it now because I'm @ work. I'll try again when i get home in about an hour

No because the 2D doesn't do the interior in "live" version, which the customer needs. The shockwave update thing is odd.

The 3D Car Configurator doesn't work with me when using Internet Explorer (hasn't worked since I updated Shockwave-plugin) but it works with Mozilla Firefox though.

Have you tried to not take the Shockwave update? This approach has always worked for me.

It's odd. On my computers, it only works in IE, not Firefox (I'm not even offered to choose between 2D and 3D and get moved to the old 2D one automatically). If I fake the User-Agent ID so that the server believes I'm using IE 6, the configurator crashes Firefox as soon as I'm done loading the color configuration page.

The same happens on my PC and on my Mac. Obviously, I'm running the very latest versions of Shockwave. It was the same with the previous version anyway.

Same problem. Works in 2D but not 3D. Must be an internal glitch. I was on last week with no problems.

i dont have a problem the shockwave thing comes but i didnt update it
