Super excited.
Just got an email this morning from Porsche Canada CEO about an invite to Zuffenhausen this coming April 6-9. Gonna visit the 918 manufactory, the Porsche Museum and might even get to lunch with Walliser at the Christophorus Restaurant. Then head to the Weissach test track for a drive in the 918!
Very likely I will see my actual car on the production floor too as it's scheduled to complete sometime in May.

God, now you are killing me for the wait till April. lol
But what's good to know is Porsche didn't miss their target, production really started in February after delay after delay since last September, those are real customer cars being assembled on the floor. At least one is destined for the middle east with the letters on the mirror.
I am guessing that was the Russian tour. And from then till at least April Porsche will be running 918 factory tours for all the countries.
I am really excited as my tour's timing means I have a very good chance to see my actual car on the production floor.
Another info noted was when he said the 918 is running ahead of the CGT for the sales number at the end. Amazing consider the 918 is more than doubled the price of a CGT yet they are able to sell more of it.

This evening's Top Gear program had a fun 918 review with lots of P1 v 918 commentary.... Hamster loved the 918 and Jennifer (jeremy) looked the P1. They said they hope to have a P1 v 918 Top Gear track 1on1 later in the year - Can't wait!
