Dark Blue Metallic Carrera 4S

After two months of waiting and still no news on the build date for my 'Riviera Blue' 981 Boxster I decided to look for alternatives. Surprisingly this did not take a long time to resolve Smiley

I am now the proud owner of a 'Dark Blue Metallic' 991 Carrera 4S with PDK, -20mm Sport PASM, PSE, PTV Plus, dynamic engine mounts, SportDesign GT3'esque front spoiler, satin platinum wheels, etc, etc, etc. Fully loaded interior with all the brushed aluminium and painted options that I would never spec on a new car myself, because I find them a waste of money. Now I got them for free, so to speak.

Dark blue metallic with satin platinum wheels is a great combination. The SportDesign front makes the car look like a GT3 without the rear wing. Low and sleek with a wide a** and aggressive face. Smiley

That is without a doubt one of the nicest 911 I've seen. The wheels are a bit dark in combo with the dark blue paint but in the sunlight I bet it's going to look very very impressive.

Congratulations. I was in the same situation as yourself. I had waited since 6/13 for blutorange/tangerine to be approved and it was turned down. Fortunately for us we could satisfy our Porsche urge in the local showroom!! I really like the look of the 991 C4S. Beautiful car!

Congratulations! Our 987 is in Dark Blue Metallic. Very beautiful and warm colour when taken care of and when clean.

Not the most practical colour, however. But who cares, your car looks fantastic and with the right spec.

May I suggest the fitment of a subtle spacer, the broad hips can use them! smiley

@Porker Since I am suffering from SOCD (Spacer Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) these are already on order smiley H&R 7mm in the front and 15mm in the rear with black bolts. Motto: You can never be to wide.

LOL! They had a couple of nice vehicles there.... Yours (which I really liked), the white C4S with the blacked out headlights (didn't have all the options I like), the new black C4S with ducktail (looked very nuce, but I don't want black) and a very beautiful white Continental GTC (yes I know... It's not a Porsche but I adore that car!). This all distracted me so much, that i actully forgot that I was there to pick up some accessoiries for my Audi, next door Smiley Smiley

Congratulations Bluelines . I am sure this car will satisfy you more then a Boxster . I have now seem a few times the blue metallic and I think it looks very good . Elegant and sporty at the same time , combined with all the sporty features your s has, it is a perfect package .

@d997h Yes, the RWD to AWD deserves an explanation. In short, the 991 AWD felt like a huge improvement over the 997.1 AWD. Plus I like the wider a** and red stripe on the 4S indecision Evo's Henry Catchpole preferred the 991 4S steering feel over the S and that made me curious to try AWD.

@Rossi Good spot on the nick indecision Did not think about that. It is taken from the Massive Attack debut album.

@KMM and @sfo I only have two low quality pics of the interior and you can hardly see the brushed aluminium and painted parts in these. I will take better pics once the car is delivered.
