    Stormy slugging it out near the top of the last steep.  You can get a sense of how steep here - 450 vertical feet just down to the creek, and another 1100 vertical from the crrek to the west ridge...

    if you click on the photo and enlarge it, you will see a little mountain on the horizon, which is Santa Barbara Island, 60 miles hence, slightly left of dead center

    My co-pilot and I went to Ocean Beach near San Diego today, which has a gigantic and wonderful dog beach, unlike most of CA, they are welcome and enjoy it.

    Watt, have you discovered Metacam? I hesitate to medicate the dogs too much, but my girl is extremely arthritic in her old age (~12 years), and boy does it make a difference. It's like she's a new dog. For me, it's about keeping her mind happy now, so if she can go splash around in the lake for an afternoon. pain free, than I'm sold. The stuff is worth its weight in gold, which is a good thing because it costs nearly as much...

    Glad to see your guys out there doing what they do best!

    metacam is a type of aspirin, maybe try buffered aspirin and save $ if it works.  Sun and Storm take steroids which dont go w metacam. So we use tramadol for pain..antiquan a shot that helps, but methylprednilisone, naltrexone, and armour thyroid (thyroid big cause of arthritis)  is our gig

    also google Rapid Response FF, it helps !  Best to your girl, from Sun, Sky n StormSmiley
