BjoernB:
Quite frankly : having now 680HP in the GT2 - and not being Walter Roehrl (who's former 1988 Ruf CTR I've just sat in this week at a dealer in CH) I now understand when people like Clarkson say when they make comments like "this car constantly wants to kill you...." - it's fun to drive with some wheelspin but you have to know what you're doing and its much easier to drive the RS on a limit than a GT2 - although now the RS feels like it's running on 3 cylinders only - I think it;s almost to much HP for 2 wheels...... - Dial back the HP and the weight and the fun is back.... - wonder how fast a F12 would be in the wet against much lower HP's cars....
This is why I decided agains the 997 GT2 RS at some point and this is why I love AWD.
People make mistakes from time to time...I love the safety cushion of AWD and PSM (unless I turn PSM off intentionally but then, I actually know what I am doing and I am prepared).
I admire everyone who is willing to take the risks on a daily basis but I guess I'm too old.
Glad you enjoy your car, how about some nice photos?
