Sadly, not just for practice sessions ... Even ticket holders for qualification ...
Of course, the rainfall has been v heavy indeed BUT this is not the first time that Silverstone's car parks have become mud baths and the surrounding roads will be gridlocked. It's a joke.
Welcome to Britain, where things only work when all factors are favourable.
Leaves on the line, wrong kind of snow ... Excuses, excuses, excuses.
We're only good at talking now.
You are being quite unreasoneable mate. You should see how things work in other countries where people drown when as much rain falls as it does over here. The UK is a very well organised country, believe me.

FERRARI RULES!!!
I have travelled a lot in my life. What I have shared on RT is a small proportion of the total. So I am well aware of how things work elsewhere.
The fact that, in some countries, things are worse is irrelevant. It doesn't excuse poor service here in the UK.
Do you travel by Tube? It is one of the most expensive metro systems in the world and yet, it is plagued with delays caused by signal failures and all sorts of other faults.
Perhaps you travel by train? Delays/cancellations are commonplace on the privatised rail network. There is already inadequate capacity but cancellations just make this worse to the point where people actually have to stand on a 3 hour journey because no seats are available.
The past few winters, there has been widespread groundfrost. But there was insufficient salt and grit to apply on the roads. Before that, many councils and the UK Highways Agency were caught off guard. They failed to send out gritting lorries in time. Result? So many roads were like ice rinks and were impassable.
In recent winters, some UK airports had insufficent de-icing equipment for aircraft. Result? Yet more delays ...
This summer is the first summer I can remember when a hosepipe ban ended earlier than expected. Chief Executives of the privatised water companies usually trot out well-rehearsed excuses for why so much water is wasted in leaks that have still not been fixed.
In other countries, if they need airport capacity, they build a new airport or terminal building. Here in the UK, planning applications for presently needed infrastructure gets bogged down in planning enquiries for up to 10 years (e.g. Heathrow Terminal 5, then a 3rd runway at Heathrow etc).
Blair took the UK into Iraq, a total disaster. So many servicemen's lives lost needlessly. We have already had 2 enquiries (e.g. the Butler report, a whitewash by a Whitehall mandarin) and still no outcome from the Chilcott enquiry into the legality of the Iraq campaign.
Moreover, UK servicemen and servicewomen were sent to fight with inadequate equipment. They even had to buy their own body armour since there were insufficient items provided to them by the MoD. And all we heard were excuses.
Do you honestly think anything meaningful will come out of the Leveson enquiry into phone-hacking?
How long did it take for the Saville enquiry to investigate Bloody Sunday, only to deliver a result that everyone already knew and expected?
Don't even get me started on the NHS and State education.
These are just a few examples. There are many, many more.
We have become a nation of talkers who make excuses ... often just to cling on to a cushy job.
