I do not understand why this is the World Premiere (didn't Porsche use the same words for the Moscow presentation back in May?) but the more I see the 991 Turbo S, the more I want the car to be here already in my garage. 14 days until production completion and 23 days until pickup...oh boy, not easy for me. laugh

    Agate grey met. and the black/Carrera red bi-color interior you saw in Frankfurt. The black/Carrera red interior with carbon is beautiful, when I saw it the first time live I fell in love with it instantly. Very sporty combo for a Turbo S. I also added the glass roof which adds some extra design elements with the black painted roof parts.

    I wasn't sure about Agate grey met. but I saw this combo live recently and it is just perfect (for me).

    My car was delayed by one day only (Sept. 27th instead of Sept. 26th).  Smiley

    There is a delivery embargo for the Turbo S until (incl.) Oct. 5th, so I wouldn't be able to pick up the car earlier anyway.

    The car is going to be at the dealer around Oct. 1st or 2nd if I am lucky, so maybe I can at least "visit" it and take some pictures. Smiley

    Speaking of the GT3: So far, I haven't heard of a single customer delivery but it is about time (rumors indicated end of August, early September). Not sure however it is going to happen during the IAA, maybe shortly afterwards.

    I have two disappointments regarding the IAA: I expected to see the Turbo Cab and the GT3 RS or at least the Macan. The Macan has been officially postponed, the Turbo Cab and GT3 RS haven't even been mentioned yet officially. The IAA presentation of the 918 was expected, same goes to the Turbo but for such a high importance autoshow, I expected at least one surprise from Porsche, which didn't happen. I kind of have a feeling that something went wrong but... Smiley Smiley

    I like this anniversary edition, and came very close to ordering one (the U.S. version comes with a power kit as standard).  The color is the same grey as the early 911 that Porsche has been showing from the museum.  

    But I did not like the "houndstooth" seat inserts in the car.  They made the interior look "hot" and a bit "dirty".   The newer 991 leather seats are far more attractive.  

    And oddly, Porsche made no fanfare about the anniversary editions, even though the "911 50" logo was everywhere. And the two anniversary editions were over to one side of the display area, not at all featured in any way.  Only the 918 and the Turbo S were mentioned in the official press remarks.

    iMHO the white/red Turbo S was the star, and the 918 was the shooting star...

    The color grey of the early 911 doesn't even come close. The old car is Slate grey and if the 911-50 had been that color, I would probably have ordered it. Don't like the Graphite grey that much and that's te main reason why I canceled the order and went for a standard C4S.

    The seats are also available in full leater, without the houndstooth, so that would be no poblem. You get the nice stitching on black or agate interior for free.

    This car,together with the GT3 is a bargain n the U.S. (In fact, every car is Smiley).

    I agree on the Graphite grey and have cancelled my 911 50 as well which is in production now.  After having spray outs done of both colours neither appealed to me. My dealer has found another customer for it and told me the entire UK allocation is sold out. I'm going to wait for the targa before getting back in a 991.

    Don't know about the car in the video, but at IAA the Turbo S and Turbo were not pearl white, but the 918 Weissach edition was...
