I saw the Rhodium at the dealer last weekend and it is beautiful. It has a slightly blue hue to the gray and is really very stunning. The dealer did not have a GT Silver Metallic at the dealership so I could not see but the description was that is was more pure gray, a rather light gray.

When do you work? You seem to be always on vacation? Or is that the infamous European work schedule?
Me and my wife take only a vacation when the kids have their school vacation. So we usually travel with the kids aprox. six weeks per year, not as long as the kids have school vacation (11 weeks or so...) but we try to spend as much time with them as we can. Both, me and my wife, are our own bosses, so we can take as much vacation as we want but of course we have to be careful not to offend our customers by not being there for them.
Speaking of Lake Garda: It is only 400 km away from my home location, Monaco is only 750 km away and Paris around 900 km. The Porsche museum is 180 km away, so everything is quite close to my location, so I can actually take a short weekend trip. I do not work on Saturdays anymore, I wanted to spend more time with the family.
So yes, life is good, I shouldn't complaint.

Saw the white/red 991 turbo S on the Porsche stand at Frankfurt today. RC. It is an absolutely Stunning Car! You have chosen well and will be ecstatic when you recieve your car! Superb design-- a gigantic forward step for Porsche...congratulations to you!
reginos:
This car has the optional chrome window surrounds. I find them more luxury than sporty, but somehow they match the wheels very well
I think the chrome surrounds look fantastic. Wouldn't work on all colours but the darker greys and blues, wonderful.

I am glad to hear that, S., thank you!

Thank you for the photos. I do not understand why this is the World Premiere (didn't Porsche use the same words for the Moscow presentation back in May?) but the more I see the 991 Turbo S, the more I want the car to be here already in my garage. 14 days until production completion and 23 days until pickup...oh boy, not easy for me.

I hope you know what you are doing, see attached information from Porsche (click on it for a better size).
Your dealer will certainly get a call from Porsche to confirm this combo.

Just to be clear, this photo is the Turbo S, with a bi-color red/black interior. I will post some more pics soon. Lots of differences--which you have already noted--between S and Turbo (which is the pic Cocodrillo posted as his ordered car). IMHO, the S is well worth the relatively small cost differential. And finally, as always, both the S and the Turbo look far more fantastic in reality.
I was only addressing Cocodrillo's 991 Turbo order (white exterior with the bi-color agate grey/pebble interior) with my post, sorry if there has been any confusion.
Yes, the new 991 Turbo/Turbo S looks much nicer in reality. I was actually quite thrilled how much I liked it because I wasn't 100% sold on the wider rear and especially the CL Turbo S rims. It was an instant love story after I saw and experienced the car myself live.
