The beer 356!!! 1958A! The mountain was icy but they powered through. We thanked out loyal drivers and planned the next party. The only longer haul is the 356 parts haul from Malibu to the South Island we do in exchange.

PCNZ Nelson had a BBQ at John and Dots - 20 minutes by motor launch across Kenepuru Sound, in Marlborough, from Te Mahia, a nice 45 minutes 1st and 2nd gear run with 12 cars from 356 Headquarters in Linkwater, NZ.

John's house can also be reached by driving around Kenepuru Sound, an hour and a half one way from Te Mahia - now this is remote!

John is a man who sees the world the way we do - his Porsches get driven and get dirty wink frequently on the 20 km of dirt that reaches his house. His black 997 turbo and 928 are run across this like it's normal, which to me of course, it is! smiley kiss

Note that brown stuff on the tyres....

define "too bad"? It's hit freezing many nights and 65 F bright sun in the day. This is supposedly the coldest winter on record on the SI. Still havent needed long pants which is the key criteria.. Here's the cars covered in frost... brrr the key is your house MUST face north and be open to sun. it's 20 degrees colder facing south...

Running Takaka Hill, snow in the Mahurangi to the West. A great GT3 road: 1st, 2nd, some 3rd, grit and wet. It's warmed up a bit and even at 4.30 pm there's no longer black ice kiss
