Anyone who know what's up with those wheels? Why haven't we seen or heard anything about them in the list of options? .. They look quite good, and would look the business in titanium or similar.
Looks quite good in black me think
Yea...those looks awesome. Interesting if those will ever available
reginos:
Both sets of wheels above (on yellow and silver cars) don't suit the Turbo AT ALL.
The first set is something from BMW, the second might look good on the Cup car.
I actually like the CL wheels..... sort of.
The standard Turbo wheels are SUV-wheels (or BMW indeed ). They look good on the Cayenne or Macan and they're not very bad on the Turbo, as long as the exterior color is dark, but I agree that both wheels are not the best looking wheels for that car.

I love those wheels and have since they started using them on the mules. They look sort of like Dymag wheels.

By now it is absolutely clear that PAG is releasing all these stunning yellow test cars, for the single reason to convince our esteemed RC to change his order to .... YELLOW! Lets hear it for non-boring turbos!

Let me guess: these will be the standard rims of the forthcoming GT2.

I would love to see these as a standard on the 991 GT3
totally agree. nothing - except most likely the GT3 - comes close to the driving experience of a ferrari. very sensual experience, nberry has just described my feelings very well.

Am I the only one that thinks that Racing Yellow (too bright), is an ugly color on most Porsches, except maybe the Cayman??

I am not sure... While the modern Ferraris sound very nice they also feel quite synthetic (steering, electronics etc.). My preference is clear: a GT type Porsche is more fun to drive fast than a modern Ferrari. If you intend to drive slowly, not using the car's capabilities fully a Ferrari is also nice, of course. But it feels more like a video game than a real car sometimes
well, i might concur if you talk about GT3 (RS) 997, but i do not see why the 991GT3 (a car i like a lot!!!!) should feel less 'videogame' than the F458. also the boxster S and the cayman S qualify in my view for great driving experiences, when raw speed is not the objective.
Everybody is complaining nowadays about the 'videogame' feel of the new cars. But we all demanded a product that is more durable, more efficient and most definitely more reliable than before. So partially we have to blame ourselves. Ofcourse also government and safety regulations play a big part in it.
My guess is that we just have to accept this. Or buy 'oldtimers'

You last statement might be a very good one. Cars from the 70s, 80s feel very different. Of course they are much slower. But the feel & fun factor is just very good

No, I agree yellow is an acquired taste, and may be another example of the preference differences between NA and Europe. But whenever I have seen a yellow turbo over here, anything from 993s onward to 997s, it just "pops" with such a happy, cheerful, and fun look. To me it gives the turbo a playful personality that the power perhaps deserves - OTOH the usual sombre shades of grey are perfect for those who want to appear very serious about their power. The biggest downside to yellow is that it more or less only works with black interior; and the attempts to lighten this with yellow seat belts or painted console etc are usually a bit tacky IMO.
