    the f430 annihilated the lambo. i bet it must feel terrible for someone to c this video after picking a gallardo over an f430. ouch

    What do you mean "wait until". The Gallardo has 515 HP vs the 430's 483 HP. The Gallardo should have walked away for the 430. They were comparing the best entry level cars from both companies and Lambo lost What do you say when the 997 tt with AWD does the same thing to the 430, oh..wait until the 430 Stradale comes out???

    Not to mention that the while the extra hp would give it speed advantage later on the awd should have given it an even bigger advantage in early acceleration.

    I'll admit it looked like a sluggish launch, but F430 looked like it had all the traction in the world.

    The gallardo is not launched properly. The driver should have put the engine to the rev limiter and then let the clutch go.Fastest way to launch a 4wd car.Also called the "audi quattro" way.

    the 430 started first,just look at the stop lights of both cars ,the 430 went a sec before the G...

    LOL... doesn't matter if it would've waited another second after the Lambo took off... it still would've caught it.
    It just kept blowing by it... I thought at one point that it was a comedy skit because of the comments of the drivers.

    Since you're new, this video was posted a while ago. The Gallardo used is the old, 500 HP, model and it also uses a wing, which causes drag at higher speeds.
    The '06 Gallardo has different gear ratios and 20 more horsepower.

    If the drivers are as incompetent as the narrator, and they looked suspect, that test is a pile.

    I wouldnt look to that organization for anything useful.

    I saw a very similar video with the f430 vs 996gt3 and the gt3 beat the fcar on take off. The gt3 would have won the race if it wasn't for having to clutch and shift out of the last turn. The f430 with the F1 was able to pass.

    Was this an early Gallardo or a '06 Gallardo? Either one, SE or normal Gallardo are the same in performance.

    About the drivers:there was a Le Mans winner and the other guy finished 2nd also in Le Mans.I think they know what they're doing.

    As little wheels spin is needed for a quick launch to break the initial stationary traction, it means high rev launch for a 4WD car.

    That Gallardo belonged to Lambo Japan and they did not allow rocket start to save the clutch.
