After a month and a bit having the car, he ended up by returning the car to the dealer with a major loss of money. He told me that it was horrible. People were surrounding the car at every stop..gas station, cafe....Taking pictures all the time, asking question about the price of the car and what is his work if he can afford a Ferrari....That's a mentality of Middle East...

It is the same mentality in the US. They always wanted to know what you did for a living and what other cars you own.

They recently had a severe case of road rage in Belgium, a guy got out of his car to argue about a futile incident. He ended up losing his leg as the other party got a bush trimmer out of his trunk and pointed it towards the guys' leg.

I always try to remember such incidents before deciding on getting out of my car for whatever irritation I might have towards another driver.

Depends what part of the ME. I imagine the reaction would be very different in Dubai; as in, no reaction at all...

Same mentality over here in Germany...more subtle maybe but still the same way.

The worst question I have been asked at a fuel station (I will never forget that) was: "Who do I have to kill to drive such a car?". I wanted to reply "yourself" but I shut up and fueled the car up without any comment. That younger guy stood next to me all the time, it was embarrassing (for him) and felt quite uncomfortable (for me) at the same time.

I started to ignore this stuff but I also have to admit that I had some good reactions too lately and according to my wife, I always blush when I encounter them. Smiley

Unbelievable. I hope this guy got arrested and he never gets his driver license back.

Those who support having guns in cars: Well...how do you know that he doesn't shoot first?! I prefer a hand to hand combat encounter than getting shot without even knowing where the bullet was coming from. Just saying...
