Congrats RC! I think all things considered, you made the right decision
Thank you. I hope you are right...until the next itch starts...
In a perfect world, I would have loved to get a Cayenne Turbo S with the looks and sound of the GTS and the lower weight of the Panamera Turbo S.

Due to this thread, I've been watching a couple of videos about the GTS on youtube, and I have to say this car is really badass! ;) The sound is intoxicating!
Congrats, I'm sure you will enjoy this car immensely!
I'm now lusting after a black GTS with black alcantara interior and yellow stitching....

RC - congrats!! good choice! Instead of having a half-ass TT, fully packages GTS is better and more fun!! ENJOY!
Thank you. The TT didn't make sense since I have the Panamera Turbo S.

Congrats to the new upcoming toy. As much as I understand the worries of some members, that the Itch will get back soon, due to the lack of a "real fun sports car", you are the one that needs to enjoy this car and your decission. I am sure nobody forced you into this, so Judging by your argumentation, also in previous threads, I am sure you will have allot of fun with this baby as a daily driver and it will suite your needs perfectly. And this is what counts the most! To each his own. The sound of this car is just crazy, this will at least compensate the great loss that your ears have to suffer, since you are giving back the baby monster c63! Awayting images and a review soon.

You have never driven a Panamera Turbo S, right? The PTS is a real sports car, in sedan disguise. This is what I am trying to say all the time but nobody seems to listen (family 911). The only car which could replace it would be a 991 Turbo. Since the 991 Turbo has the same limited rear passenger compartment the 991 Carrera has and since I have two children, it is not very likely I am going to get this (or any similar car) any time soon because it would need to replace the PTS (I have no more room in my garage) and I need the PTS for longer trips. Case closed.

Here are some photos of the real deal (this is actually my car but it doesn't have the winter wheels yet).
I am going to post better photos the coming weekend or during next week.

We're listening but we just don't agree. It's a 4-door sporty saloon, RC. Probably the best example of the breed. The generally accepted definition of a sports car it is not.

It is faster on the street and on the track than your Carrera GTS. For me, it is a sports car...a family sports car.
A sporty 4-door saloon would be the E63 AMG or the M5 in my book.

Haha, you broke your black car rule just like I did.
enjoy it for the next, oh, year and change until something else tickle you?
My wife thinks that meteor grey doesn't look as aggressive as black, being a good compromise between sportiness and elegance. The only other color I would have gone with is white. White looks quite neutral and inoffensive.
I still don't understand why a dealer would order an inventory car without PTV Plus but illuminated carbon doorsills or with white dials (the GTS has a grey one in the middle, which actually looks quite special already) instead of TPMS but I guess dealers aren't customers.
